I couldn't find the thread where someone was talking about that one Gza
Labels Remix. Not the Rza Mix or Gza Mix. The other real ill one.

Could this be the record it's on?

The one godmc was talking about? From what I (and he, from what I gather) understand, it's only available on ...can't remember his name... mixtape of rare Wu shit.

I dunno, it says "Genius - Labels Remix" on discogs... I would think it has to be the same track right?

Yeah. But I can't tell without hearing it.
It could just be a bootleg homemade house mix or some shit, you know?

And it had to be on more than just a mixtape cause I had it twice on different Bobbito tapes.
I figured a Test Press.

If it is, it's worth much more. And if people realize it is the right mix, you
will see it going for a LOT more $$ than that by tomorrow. Lol
Now if we could only figure if it's the right mix.
If it was an American seller, I would buy it right now just to see.
But being it's a foreign seller, the shipping will likely be triple the price
of the vinyl. So... I dunno.
Hope the dude doesn't read this thread.

Should get someone from the UK on this board to buy it just to see... :gyeah:

^^I was thinking the same. Any UK heads here interested enough in that
remix to take a chance and buy that? Lol..
Probably not.

Yeah sure man, anytime. I posted the Geto Boys' Mind Playing Tricks on Me single on the last page as well in case you didn't see that. That's all I've found (so far) though, other than these links to the State Property Roc the Mic instrumental:

alot of those Crib Underground 12"s label tracks as 'remixes' when they arent. Something to with that murky world of dodgy copyright and licensing that the people responsible for these operate in.

On quasimoto or madlib's myspace there was once an ILL remix of "real eyes"... anybody have info/mp3?

also, looking for the 12" version of mos def's "next universe", with instrumental preferably but no need for the co.flo or diamond tracks

as always thanks!

In regards to that Crib Underground record, do any of you visit local used record shops? I remember seeing these records scattered all over the place but I always pass on them. I sincerely doubt that labels remix is on one of them. There are a lot of Crib Underground releases (checked discogs) so I can't say if the ones I saw happen to be the one you're thinking to purchase. I'll look for it next time but it's highly unlikely to me that it has the right remix.

You can always message the sellers and ask them if it has the remix. I've done it a few times and the sellers are usually nice enough to respond.
