Nas - The Making Of Illmatic Documentary (VHS to mp4 rip)
I got a request for this from another member in the Mic Geronimo thread, so here it is. A nice look at Queensbridge projects if you've never been there.

You can import the mp4 file into iTunes and convert it for your iPod or iPhone if you like. I try to keep a bunch of classics to travel around and watch regularly.

Honestly, I don't remember if I ever actually saw this. Thanks.

Thanks for this, I've seen most of it before but would like to have it for future viewing. Thanks for uploading it.
Kool Keith: I wore a straw hat with a feather to the last Source Awards. When I got to Madison Square Garden everybody was looking at me. When I got back home I seen everybody and their mother in their video wearing a fuckinג straw hat with a feather in it.
Tim Dog: גWhat Kool Keith gonna wear? Iגm gonna do that shit in my video. Iגm gonna wear that shit really quick. Whatגs Tim Dog gonna wear?ג

Wow, thanks man! This is awesome, I don't think I've ever seen this either. Would you mind if we post this on TROY and link to your site? Feel free to say no, but this looks tight.fatboybrandon wrote:

I'm glad y'all like the documentary, I remember being glad to see it in the midst of hearing Nas songs slowly leak from Illmatic on WKCR before the album dropped.
Yes it's fine if you post it on TROY, I appreciate the work of Phila Flava fully and am happy to even get mentioned on the blog.Teddy C.D. wrote:Would you mind if we post this on TROY and link to your site? Feel free to say no, but this looks tight.
I'd like to see any documentaries too from Phila Flava, I've been going through the videos section gradually since I joined the forum and have found some good things. I posted a link to a documentary for Mic Geronimo's The Natural in a thread about a week ago here.vermillion wrote:Anyone got anymore thngs like this?

Good times. I watched Video Music Box religiously for years but I still don't remember this. Gonna try to peep it tonight. The download is working fine for everyone else? It stops at 0.8 MB for me. I tried yesterday and again now. I'll try it again later.fatboybrandon wrote:I remember being glad to see it in the midst of hearing Nas songs slowly leak from Illmatic on WKCR before the album dropped.
Thanks again.

I remember the first time Bob played Life's a Bitch. Pretty sure it was Feb 94. He said "The first kid on this next songs named AZ. You guess the second."Verge wrote:Good times. Okay brandon, I've put this off for a while but I'm going to blog this pretty soon. Do you want to upload this on Youtube, or can I, or do you not want this on youtube at all? If you don't want it up on youtube that's fine, it's up to you. I just thought it might be nice if people could watch this on the site. Either way you get your much-deserved props, and again, thanks for the rip!

So I suppose it's worth noting that this was posted on the blog yesterday, although you get the video and download here anyways:
