Centurion was pretty great. Great depictions of combat throughout and the battles are pretty epic. No real surprises but a "manly" read that should please those who are fans of series like Rome and Spartacus, and the Gladiator/300 type movies.jay wrote:
I'm reading Centurion by Simon Scarrow at the moment. Only 20-30 pages in so far and he doesn't mess around - pours the action on early and the opening battle is setting the pace nicely.
