Thanks, I never heard this till now and so far, "Spirit", "You Can't Hide Love" "Anna's Song" are my favorite three. "Anna's song" may have been sampled but I'll have to give it a thorough listen. I know I've heard that "Hide My Love" track before and I'm pretty sure it was sampled, not sure by who though. Great joint, real ill. "Madatcha", the bass sounds like "gotta Get Over" but it's not. That sample was an AWB joint.
The intros for "She's My Lady", and a few already mentioned, are dope too.
Thanks again.

Peace to owlqaeda at Holy Warbles for ID'ing an Urbaniak break I been looking for. The one I needed is called "Tomorrow", it was on a record I had and could never find again called "Space Breaks". Also, the joint "Karma" on here is the source of many samples, including Artifacts - Wayback and Self Scientific - Degrees:

I don't know if the album ever got a proper remastering, so yeah it's not of the same quality as that youtube version. Hope you enjoy.

Yeah another dope Mandrill LP. All of their albums got joints, some are more rockish but still they got some bangers.
I edited in the cover and track list for ya. Thanks.

^Good lookin out king beef that record is really dope.

I found this today: Galt McDermott - DisinHAIRited

Image

Though apparently it's not rare it's the first time I seen/heard it. Just wondering has anything on this album ever been sampled?

Not sure, but I have it and have listened to it and don't remember anything being sampled. I remember being pissed that there was singing over some dope parts though. Here's a recent rip:

On the strength of this track, I tried to hunt down everything in his discography. Most of his albums were extremely hard to find right around the turn of the century, but eventually, pretty much everything from his glory years would surface on the net.

Here's a compilation that I put together for the ride:

Sven Libaek (1968-1974)
1. Lost City
2. Seasnakes
3. Inner Space
4. Inner Space II
5. Dark World
6. Nocturnal Lullaby
7. Crown Of Thorns
8. Attacking Sharks
9. Beche De Mer
10. Music For Eels
11. News From The Exchange
12. Quasars
13. No Flowers On Venus
14. Solar Flares
15. Misty Canyon
16. Soul Thing
17. Touching Hands

Track 1: To Ride A White Horse LP (1968)
Tracks 2-10: Inner Space LP (1973)
Track 11: Nickel Queen LP (1971)
Tracks 12-14: Solar Flares LP (1974)
Tracks 15-16: My Thing LP (1970)
Track 17: The Set LP (1970)

There's a good amount of dope Australian jazz from the 60s & 70s, but I think that Sven is probably the best I've ever heard.

Mediafire is a little gay, so if there's anything wrong with the link, let me know.
Anyone wanna upload some full albums from this guy?
