I like his older shit. Mixtape Messiah 1 is probably one of the hardest "mixtapes" ever. Compared to his older shit, to me he sounds a little corny nowadays. The whole, not cussing, thing gets a little much. Though that "Best Rapper" over that TI beat is really nice.
Interested in hearing what "Venom" will sound like.

Chamillionaire is off Universal now, and is supposed to be releasing a lot of free stuff at www.chamillionaire.com. I don't know if this was left over from the shelved Universal album or brand new, but it sounds good.

I liked "The Sound Of Revenge". regular and the Screwed & Chopped version by OG Ron C which had a few non-album cuts on there as well.
[Remember in 2005 when the industry decided to make Screwed and Chopped for almost every CD that was currently out? I remember seeing a C-Murder album S&C by Paul Wall.]
I also liked "DJ Smallz and Chamillionaire - Man On Fire" back in the day; the track with David Banner should've been a single, imho.

I didn't like "Ultimate Victory" and I only heard Mixtape Messiahs 2 and 3, which were pretty dope.

Agreed. Liked his debut and the fact he took a chance to do something a little from what people expected, I had respect for as well. In the long run, it didn't help him as much as it should've; I guess it seemed like it did not fit with his brand overall as an artist. And he killed it on those Mixtape Messiah series.blessingindisguise wrote:I think he's a great mc and an alright lyricist. Sometimes he says some stupid punches but which mc doesn't. I respect him for standing up for what he believes with no cursing but it's a bit much sometimes. It's a shame the masses didn't feel his second album more and was expecting another "Ridin".
