This was my shit back in the day. Everything here from Gravediggas to Armand Van Helden. I got this from my boy when I lived out in Puerto Rico back in 95 or 96...I think its from about the time..Taped on a SHARP Stereo on High Speed Dub. It is sad, but I remember some of the radios I taped from, just cause they all had different quality..This one was not so great quality, I was gonna Tweak it on Sound Forge, but I wanted to just post something before I passed out. PALO VIEJO got me.. Hopfully some of you can relate... Dubbed to a MAXELL 90 Minute Tape. Enjoy. Hard to find Nowadays.

thanks for the post, Tony Touch is my fav mixtape DJ from the 90s. Me and my friends all use to listen to him around the timeframe you mention.

I have one older one, in the 20s i think, maybe 30's. I'll up it when I get home. I mainly just have 45-60 stuff. Not in sequence, but that's the range where most of the ones i do have reside in. The one you posted is definitely 94, maybe very early 95 but he usually got singles before they were readily played elsewhere (I.E. stretch and bobbito). It's a good mix, but yeah, like you put it, quality is not the greatest. I might eventually start buying his back catalog one by one and doing crisp tape rips. I remember trying to about ten years ago but all I could find were CD versions and those were just 74 min versions of his full 90 minute mixes.

Good looks on the reply Atlantis..It would be nice to hear most of his mixes in master quality. Cause alot of the other ones I've heard sound like this or hes live in what sounds like a bathroom. So keep me posted on any good copies. Thanks man.

yeah i was Super-C at one point, but some cat usin the same name startin rippin dudes off and i was sick of the mix ups between us, so i had to flip a little, start fresh

haha, word. well, i wasn't one of those guys that had complaints. and i don't remember what name i was going under then, but just think back to people that were in chicago that you traded with. i THINK i got a tat money mix from you. i think back then you didn't have a cd burner so you were just messing with tapes.

Thanks for the additions. Your tape 53 link to side A yields a 'file not found' msg. Same for Tape 56 Side B - so I didn't add either of those to the list. I added the version of tape 59 and kept the other one, as well. both are from tape but yours might be considered better to some so i'll leave them both up and let people decide. Your Tape 61 was already posted, but I had it via a different source - and i assume, incorrect - so i updated that info. 51,57,59, 77, and 78 are now added. Thank you very much.

Did you find anyone who could help you rip these tapes? I would love to hear some early ones. I have some at home as well and will upload them when I get a chance.
