I'm digging it, and outside of a stretch a couple years back, still think Primo is dropping heat rocks.

Beat isn't bad, but we have heard it way to many times before to be honest...The Game is shit his voice sounds put on, his rhymes are just nut hugging and dick riding name drops and weak boasts....that album will be terrible.

premier's sound and one loop/at most two loops production sounds so fucking dated now. damn shame but his time came and went.
pete rock's pillar is soul. shit will never fail. his track on the watchthethrone is one of my favorites.
but premo's music is only as good as his samples and even then it's up to how he sequences them...in my opinion his once tried and true formula has now turned into a predictable overly neat played out schtick. the sounds are nice, the samples are clean, but there's something missing. he used to be my favorite but once the 2000's hit he became irrelevant fast.
if you can't manipulate a synth/keyboard/korg/drum machine in 2011 you had better be able to hit me with a powerful sample sequenced right (see: just blaze's exhibit c, and even those violins get boring after a while) with enough curveballs to make the shit re-listenable (see: gone by kanye)
nowadays, music needs movements. premo's shit is stale b/c he's too clean. if i wanna listen to a double loop i want it bangladesh/lex luger style with a really heavy loop countered by the same loop on a different pitch scale, on some HARD IN THE PAINT shit. times done changed i guess
