It isn't.

i think the fact that its very obvious that he is not a super villain makes it alot different from all the rappers posing to be superthugs.

im not that big of a Doom fan as many people on thias board either. I only own madvillain and the madvillain remix wich was a present, and the KMD albums and havent heard much more so im not an expert, but to me there seems to be a lot of satire involved in building up such an over the top persona

Havent heard that much Doom material and dont doubt he's talented but I just find it hard to take a grown man in a metal mask seriously. Looks like some old WCW wrestler or something.

But back on topic, Ace should just do another album. He says no more solo albums, so he gonna resort to writing over used beats? That shit is wack. Certifiably. I wouldn't be as mad if the beats were new, but still, shit is underwhelming to say the least.

might be a random spot to ask, but i've been revisiting madvillainy recently and i dig it more than i remember...i also remember an alternate mix of it that got a lot of praise on here? having trouble finding it and was wondering if someone could provide a link or at least some search terms that would help me find it.

you're thinking of the demo version that leaked a year before the official release. it is indeed better than the retail (imo), but it is also missing a few of the best tracks of the retail version. it should be easy enough to google up
