I liked it a lot. Don't know if it is the best movie of the year, but it was great.

My ears perked up during the Shaolin line too.
Also when he said "I will call the Wolf."
The first words that came out of my mouth was "Shit negro! That's all you had to say."

I haven't seen this movie yet but Bigelow wrote and directed Strange Days, which is basically like Bladerunner if Bladerunner was about the Tupac assassination. If there are rap references here I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she wrote them in herself.Philaflava wrote:now do you think he slips that into the script or bigelow got some wig assistants?

I rewatched it a few days ago in honor of NYE and it still holds up really well

Thought this was a really remarkable movie.
It is long, but I didn't find myself looking at my watch at all. I think Bigelow took a very fair and measured look at how they got bin Laden. It's obviously not pro-torture or overly pro-CIA at all. Chastain really does excellent work here, and she needed to body it to pull the movie off. It's just a solid procedural start to finish.
8 outta 10

Fucking pathetic she feels compelled to do so when it's quite obvious that it isn't what the movie is advocating. At all.Employee wrote:http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/mo ... 7785.story
