this has potential but i fear that jay's influence over raekwon will lead this to being more poppy instead of gutter. as long as the beat is good it'll be listenable, let's hope.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Hopefully it turns out good.

That'd be interesting.
No no no. This'll be his opportunity to point out how even though he's still rich, he might still sell you coke and then stab you.
Looking forward to this. Weird they've never worked together before. Matter of fact, has Jay-Z ever worked with any Wu members other than RZA on a few Kanye collabos?
I vaguely remember RZA taking a few shots at Jay Z/Rocafella in an interview but that wouldve been late 90s I guess (if it happened). In my head, that 'soul for real...fisher price: my first timberlands!' skit on Wu Tang Forever was directed at him aswell.
Rae will make a record with pretty much anyone these days anyway. Seems to be trying to make up for those lost years in the early 00s when everyone pretty much stopped caring about him.
"might go to Shaolin with Rae and scoop up some convicts"
"might buy a coke mountain and go into the hiking business with Shallah"
"might get in the plane and fly to China for the finest bootleg gunz"

People said Ghost dissed Jay on Apollo Kids and some song that was on a Dj Muggs mixtape.
Its not that usual that there haven't been any collabs before, as I see it. Wu mostly worked with their own crew in the 90's, at least for their own albums, and Jay was always busy promoting the people around him (Roc) and branching out to other markets (e.g. cameos from Juvenile, UGK) or trying to fit in with current trends (J. Cole, Eminem).
Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly

Whaaa?
YA SHIRT LOOK LIKE A DISHRAG
Nah, I know what he's talking about, the was @ how anyone could think that was aimed at Jigga.
No real reason. Just that they were taking shots at "jiggy" rappers and R&B influenced stuff and Jay seemed like the main target at the other time (other than Bad Boy who RZA seemed cool with).
