Transformers 4 (2014)

Post by Truth. »

Marky Mark is the new lead
HOLLYWOOD, CA (November 8, 2012) – After an exceptionally successful collaboration on the upcoming “Pain and Gain,” Michael Bay has cast Academy Award®-nominee Mark Wahlberg in the highly anticipated “TRANSFORMERS 4.” The film will hit theaters June 27th, 2014.

“Mark is awesome. We had a blast working on “Pain and Gain” and I’m so fired up to be back working with him. An actor of his caliber is the perfect guy to re-invigorate the franchise and carry on the Transformers’ legacy,” said Bay.

Bay will direct the next installment in the “TRANSFORMERS” series, which begins shooting next spring. From Paramount Pictures, a division of Viacom, Inc., in association with Hasbro, the film will be produced by Don Murphy & Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Ian Bryce, and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Bay, Brian Goldner and Mark Vahradian.

Be interested in how they do this. It honestly seemed to have run its course.

Michael Bay FINALLY listened to someone and clearly took pages out of the Del Toro book of Big Monster Fights That Aren't Incoherent Metal Shards/Sharts of Robotic CGI Wankery

looks okay

thank god Wahlberg is more of a tolerable manic than Shiat. I was getting really sick of LaBoeuf's flustered spazzmatic neuro-dweeb character, thanks for rebooting things

and yes this does actually finally look like the Transformers movie we wanted to see THREE MOVIES AGO

gun face Galvatron? OKAAAY I'M RELOADED :copy:  :copy:

Will it have all the Dinobots or just Grimlock? Are they going to use the old Grimlock voice?

Grimlock's voice WILL BE FUCKED UP and WE WILL NOT BE SATISFIED

that's just to be expected by now from Michael Bay

envision some stupid young boy's bad idea... then extrapolate that to an absurd degree

et voila: THE SOUND OF GRIMLOCK

2nd one was the best one because of this scene:

Yea that forest scene is by far the best thing these movies did, even if the rest of that movie mostly sucks.

The big blowout at the end of 3 was pretty dope too

IT WAS AWESOME when they showed (part of) Cybertron in Transformers 3 though

as much as Michael Bay fucked everything up, there were a few moments of inspired creativity

yes the forest fight with Optimus was pretty good

the grandiose scale of the action in TF3 was pretty commendable, even if the logic was weak

looks even more illogical than Amazing Spiderman 2, which is saying a lot

a fucking Transformer is smoking a stogie??? :bunk: christ almighty

and Grimlock is now three times the size he used to be, sure whatever?

Optimus Prime has a flame-decal bra?! You'd think ~I~ would like that, but I don't.

so Michael Bay obviously stole the much sharper clarity of the robots fighting in Pacific Rim, but didn't decide to even pilfer the more intelligent plot of Del Toro's smash :bunk:

I smell the stupidity on this one already

where does it take place in the historical arc of Transformers coming to earth? I wonder if Shia will be disrespectfully asswiped out of the story and omitted from history as efficiently as Megan Fox was from Transformers 3 :copy:

We must have watched different Pacific Rims. I liked it, but wouldn't call the plot intelligent.

I've tried watching this movie three times... and I JUST CANT GET THROUGH ITS CYBERTRON-SIZED STUPIDITY

it's transforming me into a fucking degenerate dinosaur in every moment I keep my eyes on the screen

Michael Bay is the Hitler of Hollywood. *exhale*

I LOVE turning my brain off and watching things blow up real good sometimes and I love great special effects... but JESUS FUCK ME PRETTY because I'm DEAD ON ARRIVAL the instant I tune my cerebral focus into this "movie" for more than 60 seconds without being bludgeoned with illogical bullshit robot drama spliced between pseudo-scenes of racist incestual pedophilic sociopathic Americana

I don't even care to see how little logic is employed to introduce Grimlock to the silver screen. I feel my soul shrivelling into shards of scum as I see the creative-potential-rich saga of the Autobots and Decepticons get raped by the most thoughtless director to ever sodomize a collective dream.

This movie is the worst movie of the year. WAY WORSE THAN SPIDERMAN 2, AND THAT'S VOMITING A LOT. the fact that it has the highest debut of 2014 is the reason why aliens have not come to Earth as yet. We are still deemed too stupid to function intelligently, exactly like this abominable excuse for a sci-fi action film.

FUCK YOUR BRAIN WITH A MACK TRUCK, MICHAEL BAY

This is one of the worst movies that I've ever seen.

The fact that they are trying to pass off Mark Wahlberg as a robotics engineer is mind bottling to me.
