that's TWO new york players today losing their seasons to a fucking NON-CONTACT football injury jesus christ
milliner with the achilles bursting off the line to try to block a field goal (nobody touches him, he takes one step off the line then crumbles, season done)
and now cruz planting his right foot slightly awkwardly and clearly tearing up his knee in a completely innocent play, again no contact, would be shocked if he isn't done for the year the way he reacted in pain, dude was crying the whole cart ride off the field, so sad
Speaking of Milliner, the Jets now probably need 2 new starting cornerbacks next season. Really frustrating because I thought he was really turning the corner and apparently you're never quite the same after an achilles injury. This upcoming free agent class is kind of weak. It's also going to be hard justifying using another top 10 pick on a corner with the current dearth of talent on offense. I know hindsight is 20/20, but Idzik should've just bit the bullet and overpaid for Revis or DRC tbh. What a mess.

i don't celebrate injuries and its unfortunate cuz i wish the g-men had cruz next week vs. dallas, but damn i am pretty happy they got shut out after that week of constant shit talking.
without the shit-talking these eagles wouldn't have showed up, though. I caught some of their earlier games and this looked like a completely different team. Especially the o-line and the secondary.

Well Eagles did get one of their o lineman back from suspension, so the situation has improved a little bit

Shit talking or not, McCoy needed this game to find his confidence again. Everyone was hittin on all cylinders and the D actually looked legit. But yeah, we have been playing with 3rd string lineman for most of the season with the exception of Peters.

that was some great football
Dallas certainly executing at a high level. Seattle d was forcing them to execute at that level and they rose to the occasion. For what it's worth Seattle has changed what they do a bit on d and I think it's to their detriment. Give it to Dallas though. That is good shit if just sort of uncreative run to pass football.
Eagles are on some whole other shit though and are my current pick to go to the dance for the nfc. Chips got those backup oline playing above themselves for suresies and he felt good enough about them in this game to run buck sweep there at the end
