listened last night and it's surprisingly good, maybe his best release since BDR. i'm still on the fence about the general idea of Ghost doing a narrative record, so much of his appeal to me is in stream of consciousness raps and non sequiteurs, but they pull it off well here and it really comes across like he's rapping a Blaxploitation movie. in the very least it feels like what 12 Diagrams could/should have been.

36 Seasons is decent, but it lacks any real chemistry. Seems like another quick album Bob Perry threw together to capitalize on the recent release. Being that AZ, G Rap and Rell work with Perry it make sense for all these cameos. It just doesn't have a real feeling to the album. Last time I got that from any Wu member was on OB4CL II.

If I remember, Wigz was one of the favorites in the wackest white rapper poll. Not surprised he decided to go the Mac Lethal style entrepreneurial route. I mean, it's not like he was gonna start selling drugs or real estate.

Album is cool. I agree it's the best he's done since Big Doe Rehab. Much better than his last couple projects and lightyears ahead of the last Wu album. Love the amount of AZ on it too. If it had Rae it would take it to another level, but overall one of the better projects I've heard this year.

I was thinking that - imagine Rae in the AZ role and then that plot twist... although i'm not sure how people would respond to that

AZ never gets his just due. I mean, we know and some others in the rap world give him his credit.
It would be nice to see him get more shine. And some production like Ghost has backing him helps.
