This dude...it's very unique what he does. So, so impressive. Timeless jewels throughout the new album as always.
Re: the Ka thread
Is the album available on I-tunes? I can't find it. I need this shit.

Re: the Ka thread
Copped the CD today, so will wait for that. Assume it's dope based on what you guys are saying. More like DWYL rather than Grief Pedigree and Knight's Gambit?

Re: the Ka thread
On Saturday, my best friend gave me his criticism of this album, which essentially boiled down to it's TOO good. Literally. Having listened to it now, I totally get what he was saying. Like, Ka's mastered his style such that it feels routine at points. Not that he's phoning it in. Just that it's basically perfect. This isn't really a negative. It's weird. The album is so good, it's frustrating. Anybody else getting this from it?

Re: the Ka thread
I have to revisit but I think he should have waited a few months to drop this like around Nov, Dec.
KA is dope but this release isn't grabbing me the way some of his others previously did. May just not be my mood at the moment though.

Re: the Ka thread
I feel like this is his second best album, and in time might settle as the #1 (if we ever get over reflexively putting Grief Pedigree in the top spot because it had such a strong impact on us when it dropped). He is undoubtedly more polished and proficient in his style on here than he has ever been before, without making it feel too samey or incurring diminishing returns.

Re: the Ka thread
I'd be curious to hear Block's perspective as a producer here. I feel like Ka's beats have stepped up on this album, but has he actually improved in a technical sense as a producer or is he just picking really awesome samples to use.
