January...
76ers head coach said the team is committed to using Ben Simmons (foot) as their point guard once he's ready to return.
Simmons is targeting a January return and Brown said the team will waste no time putting the ball in his hands once he's healthy. "When he’s ready to go to the court, my intention is to give him the ball and let him be the point guard," Brown said. "That’s the plan. That doesn’t just happen. It takes a little bit of time to introduce him." While Simmons is an intriguing stash, he's likely to have his minutes managed upon his return and is tough to roster in standard leagues. Rachel Nichols tweeted that Klay had the ball in his hands for a total of 88 seconds during his 60 point outburst against the 'cers last night. Cray, cray.
He over reacts to everything. The media is really pushing this narrative about Steph. And I can see it to, but I'm not ready to get over worked about it. You 3 top10 players and fourth who's in the top 15. This will work out. Although, I do think Cleveland is in their head a bit now.
The NBA is so unbelievably awesome right now and I am an addict of the highest degree. The amount of unreal sub 22 yr old talent is just crazy. Giannis, Embiid, Towns, Porzingis, Myles Turner, Jokic, Lavine, Jabari Parker, Julius Randle, Deangelo Russell, and Devin Booker are all crazy good for their age. The big guys especially are a breed of players the league has never seen.
Shit even older big guys like Marc Gasol and Brook Lopez that have never shot threes are shooting 3+ per game and making 40% of them. Next year should be the best PG draft in years and will be a great draft in general. The league will just keep getting better and they're making all the right decisions. Back to backs will be all but eliminated next year, the D League has become a great asset, they've embraced gambling and DFS, and the international talent is better than ever. It's gotta be tough for Adam Silver to follow Stern, but with how he's doing so far, I think he has the potential to be an even better comish.
If you're a basketball fan, league pass is the best money you'll spend all year. The level of play is just so consistently high night after night.

Nah, it's just that my life is pretty meh in general right now and coming home and watching League Pass every night is this shining beacon of light. That and new Mach Hommy songs.
Dude great post.
Caught some of bucks-knicks tonight. What a treat. Agree with the idea that the bucks should mini-tank this year just so that they can add one more lotto pick to that core. But Greek Freak ain't having that if he had his way
