Not understanding why people still get so hyped for new Doom material. It's usually some recycled shit from years ago and more often than not, isn't actually any good.

To be honest, I doubt he is even trying anymore. Doom could drop utter garbage and his rabid fans will still call it genius. I could forge MF's signature on a piece of paper, piss on it and still get some bids for it on eBay.

this is an accurate take imo, he's been in a tailspin of diminishing returns for a decade and I check the new stuff mostly because of the inertia of longtime fandom. best case scenario is something worthwile from the vault popping up, which is what this Alchemist track seems to be.

this 'new' Alchemist one is my favorite of the lot, wasn't too blown away with the others. Ike Eyez stole Negus imo.

I wonder how old doomsayer really is, Stones Throw put out the Young Guru remix version of it back in 2012. maybe it was from the Born Like This times

meanwhile, the Adult Swim thing got mysteriously pulled with no explanation, all posted music was deleted
