Yeaaaaaaaaah don’t think this guy is for me. It’s like the most regular shit ever. He vocals sound like shit too. It’s a pass for me fellas.
I actually couldn't really get into him at first either, tried a couple of songs and it just sounded like some dude talk-rapping. I think listening to this whole album in full snapped it into place, after a while you start to pick up his idiosyncrasies of flow and phrasing and how he weaves patois into it and how his verses just go off on these weird tangents and non sequiturs and once you hear all that you're hooked.
But hey if you're not feeling you're not feeling it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yea I mean if you're not feeling it you're not feeling it. It's not for everyone, but for me it's a very welcomed change of pace from all the trap/soundcloud rap I listen to. Calling mach "the most regular shit ever" seems odd to me tho, there's not really anything regular about him. Randomly found this song on YouTube last night and I'm loving it, I guess this is a good place to post it....
I’ll stick with it. Our tastes are usually similar. He just has the same long pause cadences as all of these other guys without any sort of distinction to his voice. Beats are wonderful.
circa 2008, internet icon and official DJ for New Zealand's finest hip-hop act Raw Collective, DJ Jaz created the subversive pre-meme nicknaming of rappers he didn't like by replacing a portion of their name with a slur. This genius concept brought us memorable nom de plumes such as Shitty Cent, Kangaye Pest and Nicki Minfag.
10 years later, DJ Wicked shows respect 2 da kulture by using the same process to subvert Westside Gunn into Westside Cumm Stain.

I agree with this to a certain extent but I actually think the griselda wave is more comparable to Raider Klan. Just like Raider Klan was able to put a new enough spin and aesthetic on the three six mafia sound without it just being a boring retread, griselda has successfully managed to do the same with the NY mobb deep thug/coke rap sound

Everything about that album looks great except for the fact the constipated whiney bitch voiced Westside Cumm Stain is a part of it. So no thanks. I can only imagine how many gunshot sounds are on each song. smfh

Hes the sort of rapper who should be rapping in a group, flow can be grating in larger doses, so the features and brief length of many of the songs serve him well. Even if he has some severe limitations you just can't front on the production. Even the 9th Wonder beat knocks.
Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly

Agree, and think he's aware of that so this album does feel like more of a Griselda group album. Some great beats on here. I'm into it. Well done Westside Bumm Bandit.
Here's a take: Both Agallah and WSG aren't good.
And , i get first impressions are gonna be a thing but saying Mach sounds like everyone else is proof of missing the boat entirely. Obviously, might not be for everyone but he's nothing if not on his on wave in pretty much all facets of rapping.
Of course people do. Because EVERYTHING is labeled HipHop when most isnt so to distinguish it you call the real shit "Real HipHop." Pretty simple concept...
