That doesn't get talked about because it came out in a year where Hip-Hop dropped some of the finest material and the other "pro-black" classic we rocked was "One For All."
This album knocks from front to back. The samples were brilliant and gave producers like Dr. Dre a reason to start redoing Clinton all over again.
Brother J is a top 50 emcee and his flow and voice on this album was unforgetable.
I think it's overrated
on this board especially
it's not a bad album but it used a lot of already well-used samples
and Brother J has a silly voice
nowhere near being classic.
i agree very dope album. very slept on and it will prolly stay that way. brother j was always ill even in his dark sun riders release. amen to this one phila. much appreciated
This is one of those albums that I always hear about, but have never heard/seen in stores. In my quest to rid the new jack from my soul is it possible someone could upload this here or provide me a place to buy it?
thanks.
