Spurs in 6. It should be a great series though. If the Pistons win, it's because Billups will kill Parker in the post. Pretty much every matchup is a good one (Sheed and Duncan, Bowen on Hamilton, Prince on Ginobil) but I think the Spurs are just a little deeper and a little more focused.

Spurs in 6,

I've been dreading this matchup since last years playoffs. But i'm actually kind of interested now, because the Spurs have become more fun to watch since manu has made the leap.

Kobe is happy today.

Shaq titles without Kobe= O

People preach on the hate the Pistons get. Duncan catches just as much and he's one of the greatest players ever yet people still aren't sold on him. He's the Big Fundamental.

its more because my brother is the biggest spurs fan and the sibling rivalry always gets the best of me

plus living in texas and being to san antonio made me really hate them, reminiscent of the early to mid 90's jazz

You have to admit that the Finals would be infinitely more entertaining if it was Heat vs. Spurs.

Who cares if Detroit adds another ring, of if the Big Fundamental gets another NBA Finals MVP?

It's not that I'm not a real basketball fan, I mean its admirable how well both teams execute on offense and clamp down on defense, but niether is likeable. At all.

yeah you're right.

good basketball is not likable.

i forgot i'm in an alternate dimension where basketball fans are idiots. how wrong i've been!

stephon marbury and jamal crawford are pretty entertaining but you don't see me singing their praises.

Great players who make great plays are exciting when they do it within the team game (Wade and Shaq).

Hi-speed basketball is exciting when the players are always running and passing (the Suns)

Boring, half court basketball where the games are 68-66 are not fun.

I know your favorite basketball moments were The Knicks in the 90s, but some of us like old school exciting basketball.

I grew up on basketball from 87-95. My least favorite years were 98-2002.

So forgive me, and other basketball fans for being dissapointed that we can't watch the Suns and the Heat.

The Spurs are more watachable then they ever have been, but the tempo between them and the Pistons will be very slow.

typical bitchface

what does that have to do with the nba finals moron?

nothing, so let me end this tangent with this:

i realize boston is doing better then the yankees. thanks.

but don't be idiotic enough not to realize that baltimore is doing better then both of us. and weren't you the one that said the yanks would still win the division? thanks.

that's how i feel. i don't deny how good the spurs or the pistons are, they both are good technically. BUT...if i want all technical ball, i'll go on the court and play. point being, you're on TV. if i want to see basic shots made and easy lay ups when you got a run with no one guarding you, i'll watch a game at the local court. at least i'll be there live. i was a bit heated when the pistons won, i won't front, i had time to calm down. but no matter how good they are, this is going to be a boring series.
