Mekolicious - Verbal Murder (Feat. Buddha Monk)
i got the snippet of this song from an dj zooted mixtape that i copped in early 1998, but i NEED the full version.
this joint is ridiculous. buddha monk kills the hook with his drunken style and meko rips the track with his laid-back steez. the beat is similar to the other versions of "verbal murder" that pete did, but this beat is more melodic. i don't know why pete changed it for the other versions but i wish he didn't cause this version is unfuckwithable. you know it is when you hear an early version of a song and it just strikes a nerve and then the lp drops and the song is changed and completely ruins everything? that's how it was when i heard "verbal murder pt.2" off soul survivor.
nobody else has heard of it except my boy super-c who i traded it to years ago.
if anyone has it i would be willing to pay cash for just an mp3 of it. that's how badly i want this cut.

Return of the Crooklyn Dodgers
When we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality -- judiciously, as you will -- we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.

the one featuring Percee P, not the one with Big L.
I'm always on the lookout for Tony Bones tracks, personally.
I know it is, but I've never seen it in record stores around here and I hate ordering online.

There was a remix to a song called "Heaven" by some washed-up R&B group, Solo, that featured Almighty Arrogant, Pudgee Tha Phat Bastard, Young Zee & Mr. Blaq (who I think, at the time, was signed to So So Def). I heard this on some college radio station in 97, never heard it again.
No more Sasso. Now everybody call me Ron!
Thank you much.jredd109 wrote:http://s9.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0VZ1W ... NQ3837QR7Tzizek wrote:Return of the Crooklyn Dodgers
