Rediscovered this underrated album recently. Discogs says that the nicest cuts are all produced by Wax Fondler. Highly recommended.

Vapo, that Third Sight album is from 1998 but the joint "Rhymes Like A Scientist", which i dare say is an overlooked 90s indie classic, is actually from 96.
Gonna peep that A.D.O.R Classic Bangerz when i get a chance, thanks.
kartman, that Sherlock album, I never even heard of it until i think sometime last year and that shit certainly got some bangin beats on there. Good Pick.
I've been fuckin hard with some Street Poets related shit lately. Polecat's - RIP is one of my favorite RIP joints of all time. I got the 12, just wish it had the instrumental for it instead of the other version's instro.

I'll get to linking or re-upping some of their stuff later. Pretty sure all the 12" single stuff is still available here:

Thanks Verge, that's indeed a banging album, I found it in these boards, someone uploaded last year as far as I can remember.
I got the Street Poets album on cd, that's a super dope album for sure.
Good looks on the Polecat track, never heard of it, I just found the 12" on discogs but it's too expensive for me :/

^Street Poets is a dope album,
Dopest ADOR album is The Concrete (1994)
Third Sight LP was alright.
My LP of the day is this...
Debut LP from the producer, DJ, MC and graf writer hailing from New Haven, Connecticut, raw dirty and classic beats peppered with ill samples and conscious and often amusing rhymes.
Watch My Moves was originally supposed to be released in 1990 and finally saw the light of day in 2003 thanks to Stones Throw.
Many will know that Dooley was responsible for unearthing the infamous "Skull Snaps" loop.
Anyway dope album and so was his follow up "I Gotcha" (2005)

the albums From the Concrete, Shock Frequency and Classic Bangers all have tracks in common and some different. If you get all 3, you only end up with just over 1 and a half album's worth of material

Sicckinahead was a dope LP crammed full of classic breaks and P-Funk and Funk samples provided by DJ Pooh, Bobcat, Suede and King-T.
If you were a big fan of the West Coast Hip Hop from 1990-94 then this album is certainly for you.

@Jaz: I bought both of them at the german ebay some years ago, I did not pay much more than 15 $ for each of them. Especially the Knucklehedz CD gets sold every few months at the german ebay, not that rare here (no US version although). Last time I saw the A.D.O.R. album at ebay it got sold for 50 or 60 ג¬ as far as I remember.
Besides that, I sent you a PM...
@verge: that's right, but mine is not for sale...

There's stuff way more rare than Knucklehedz or A.D.O.R. on this pic... The promo copy of 8-Off's "Wrap your lips around this" is a real headache to find nowadays... There's a crappy bootleg out there, but this one here is the real deal, and we're only a few lucky bastards to own this lol.Knowbody wrote:You can see it on this picture, it' from a part of my collection, I made it years ago:
Same goes for the Concrete Click EP on CD, good luck finding this... One of the best CD's I own, no doubt.
But I still don't understand why you sold your copy of "Scars & pain" though lol!
^Word to everything you said Freezy Pazzy. I have the Concrete Click on vinyl but it's a recent jap bootleg, but still the quality is good and i'm not one to buy many CDs, especially for expensive.
I had that Bushwackas on cassette. I believe i bought it the same day as the Scientifik - Criminal cassette, which had the same cover as the re-issued CD.

To be honest, I never thought Bushwackass' album would be so sought after today. I bought the CD when it dropped in '94 and I always regarded it as a pretty generic album with a few good moments. When I see how much people are willing to sell it for, I'm like "Whoa... Did they really listen to it?" LOL!Verge wrote:I had that Bushwackas on cassette. Holy shit dude, from like $50 to $500?!?! Hell nah. I honestly wouldn't buy it for more than $3 even nowadays, unless to flip of course.Freezy Pazzy wrote:To be honest, I never thought Bushwackass' album would be so sought after today. I bought the CD when it dropped in '94 and I always regarded it as a pretty generic album with a few good moments. When I see how much people are willing to sell it for, I'm like "Whoa... Did they really listen to it?" LOL!Verge wrote:I had that Bushwackas on cassette. I believe i bought it the same day as the Scientifik - Criminal cassette, which had the same cover as the re-issued CD.

The vinyl goes pretty cheap though.
Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of that album then and still am not. I remember being disappointed when first hearing the tape. I thought it was decent at best. *waits for blockhead to show up and confess his love for the album*
But I would love to hear more of their later stuff on Pallas. Infinitely better.

Just my opinion but the 8OFF is not a great album and should have been an EP.Freezy Pazzy wrote:There's stuff way more rare than Knucklehedz or A.D.O.R. on this pic...
I'd love an original promo copy of The LP though.
The 8-Off is not that easy to find, that's right, but as you can see on discogs, quite a few people own it. I always wonder how much copies of promo albums got sent out back then by the labels, but I never got a reliable information about that. I guess 200 to 300, but I really don't know. Anybody got more infos on this?Freezy Pazzy wrote: There's stuff way more rare than Knucklehedz or A.D.O.R. on this pic... Concrete Click is definitely a nice one to own (even though I think the music is a little bit too monotonous) and it even did not cost me much. Afair I only paid 10 $ for it at ebay years ago...
And as you speak of the Jemini the Gifted One EP: I looked through my collection and noticed I still own it! I always thought I sold it LOL. But to be honest: I think it is only a bootleg I own, since the backside of the CD looks like a CD-R. I'm not even sure there was a CD-version of this out. I think there is already a thread about the EP here where we already discussed that...
