Finsta Bundy - Neva Say Never, DJ Primetyme tape from '99
has anybody ever heard this? i've been looking for it for years. a few copies have showed up on discogs.com in the past year for up to $400. most of it is unreleased material and it has stuff from when Finsta was affiliated with Black Moon, when they called themselves High Tech (before the Enta Da Stage days.) i'm wondering if anybody has any more info on it and if it's dope enough to warrant the asking prices on discogs.
Can we hear it?soopacee wrote:i just got a dub

Ha ha, so someone tries to make money with the one at discogs. Thx for the link, a few weeks ago I visited the Finsta Bundy site and the tape was not up for sale yet...CrabOne wrote:8.99$ on the official site : http://nevasayneva.com/?page_id=87Knowbody wrote:Don't know it, but it's up for sale at discogs for 99 ג¬. Here's the like to "All Time High"
This is a compilation of pretty much all tracks that they have officially released in good quality - unmixed

Anyone care to share Neva Say Never tape?

This is not a money issue, I'd happy pay $8.99 for it but my tape deck is busted which means I cannot rip it.CrabOne wrote:Why people just want a link for this tape ? Buy it ! It only cost 8.99$ and it's directly from the Finsta Bundy crew.

I bought a copy, not entirely confident that I'll ever see it but I'll let you know what turns up.
Seems strange that they would bother re-issuing cassette copies to sell at such a low price (i.e. instead of re-issuing it on CD or selling the tapes for a lot more) so I'm guessing these are left-overs. But I'll take some photos when/if the tape shows up.

I was wondering if the covers were photocopied and dubbed onto generic cassettes, in which case I wouldn't cop. But if they're original leftover stock or even proper reissues then I would.Debonair_P wrote:I bought a copy, not entirely confident that I'll ever see it but I'll let you know what turns up.

^We have a thread that happens to be on the front page right now regarding newer releases. If you want to, post that there.
And thanks for the link to the tape, too. peace to alkuttraz.
@Jaz, you must have skipped through a lot of posts in this thread, lol.

I ordered one too before i saw others ordered and got the cnfirmation email from them and i live in jersey so im guessin i'll probably get mines first but ya never know, hah. But I'll let yall know asap if it looks og. Unless one of yall gets the tape first. Damn, if i knew you guys had ordered i would have waited to see if it was og before copping. Oh well. I'll play it in my car regardless and enjoy it so its all good.Ho1ogramz wrote:I was wondering if the covers were photocopied and dubbed onto generic cassettes, in which case I wouldn't cop. That was some shady old "involved somehow with a label, probably an intern back in the day" type dude, not Rampage, i don't think.Jaz wrote:no one has it and he tried to charge ridiculous amounts of money for it.Stieflkater wrote:cool
I want the first Rampage album from 1994 - msged him on FB - no reply yet.
If somebody on here got it - SHARE IT.
That shit was something else though, lol. He wanted a certain amount of thousands of dollars for the cassette, which may or may not have been a "master". When he seen nobody was gonna bite then he suggested that a certain number of us all chip in a certain amount of money each and he'll exclusively rip it for us, lol. What a fuckin corporate type prick that guy was.

well, to be fair, 3 people in this thread in less than one day already have bought it and at least one or two are waiting to see the results of whether its an og or a crappy dub and if it's og they'll probably buy it too.French-Posse wrote:+1CrabOne wrote:Why people just want a link for this tape ? Aside from that, in mostly all cases like this, I would 100% agree with that statement.
always support artists especially when it's them selling it or if you know they're getting a good cut of it. That's how i feel about it.
I'll still want links for several reasons though:
1. Impatience. I'll want to hear it without having to wait for it to arrive.
2. If there's not a lot of audio around and it's not a sure cop artist for me, I must listen first cause I can't be spending money on stuff I'm not positive i want or need.
3. With vinyl, I will want a rip so I can put the music on CD and listen in my car.
4. With other stuff that is not as affordable as this, well, that should speak for itself. I don't feel entitled to a rip of anything, but I will ask if its possible if i really wanna hear it.
I hope that clears things up.
Now let's proceed.
