Absolutely. Deserves a ton of credit for being so sharp despite rotting all year. But it's not anything new. He's out there dancing like he's hot shit while he ends up going MIA in front of goal the rest of the season. Guys like that just annoy me and he's been doing it his whole career. Fuck that dude.Positive A wrote:At least he was fucking motivated today. He was great.stupidregister wrote:Fucking Adebayor. Why won't that dude just go play in fucking China or something already. He's gonna be playing with a chip on his shoulder. AVB ostracizes him to the youth team to train with them. Sherwood likes what he sees and gives him a crack and he plays like he did circa Monaco/Arsenal.stupidregister wrote:Absolutely. Deserves a ton of credit for being so sharp despite rotting all year. The ball from Soldado on the first goal was Beckham-esque.

How's Zaha getting on? They loaned him out yet?

Yeah he's a complete asshole. Mackay deserves so much better. I hope he does get fired and a club with reasonable owner and bank account picks him up. Which will take all of 4 seconds.
I mean what kind of dude changes a club from blue to red after 100 years?

I don't understand how Tan was able to change the team colors and crest of Cardiff City, yet Hull City supporters are looking to block their owner from changing the name to Hull Tigers.
Did Cardiff City supporters not have a vote; or did they just embrace the new change?

The name hasnt been changed yet.
Some Dutch tv-show pulled a great prank where they went to a 2nd division club with a hidden camera, dressed like arabs. They made coaches and one of the owners agree to change a bunch of shit for some money. They agreed to change the name (to Den Bosch Dragons), the kit, the stadiumname. They also agreed to not sign any homosexual players and create seperate entrances for men and women.

Word is that Marseille is looking at him. Which would suck because I love Marseille.
Obviously a huge match today. If Arsenal win today, I will actually believe them to be title contenders. But they won't and I won't.

Chelsea ain't all that. They lose to shit teams and can be exposed. Should be a good one regardless.stupidregister wrote:Word is that Marseille is looking at him. Which would suck because I love Marseille.

Biggest challenge of the year right here for Pool, City away has been a bloodbath this year.
At least with Everton losing Pool will only drop to 4th with a loss, as opposed to a 1st to 5th drop.

Re: Official European Football 2012 Regular Season Thread
Well, a pretty crap festive period for the Irons. I'm going to Craven Cottage tomorrow as it's pretty close to me now, but I'm making it my last game for a while.
Hopefully we'll sign some players in Jan. in the game against Arsenal on Boxing Day 9 of our starting line-up were free transfers. A right rag tag bunch, and all because we put all our eggs in one Andy Carroll shaped basket.
Reading that Ravel fucked training off all over Xmas and wants to go back to Manchester United.

Re: Official European Football 2012 Regular Season Thread
I don't think they'll sack him because of that result, bad as it was. That was an extremely junior side - I'd actually never heard of Reece Burke – and Sam was pretty upfront about the fact that he was going to do that.
If I had actually gone to the game I might have a different opinion, but our squad is threadbare, we have a semi-final against City this week (which we will probably lose anyway, but hey), and a 6 pointer against Cardiff next weekend. I don't really see what the alternative was.
Also, I don't see who they would replace him with. Its ironic really, as he's the guy you hire to dig teams out of relegation scraps. There's lots of debate on the West Ham forum I read, and the fans are pretty much divided 50/50.

WH bought that 7'2" Ivorian from Russia. I expect some sexy tiki-taka football when him and Carroll link up.

a) Sam playing two strikers?Comedy Quaddafi wrote:WH bought that 7'2" Ivorian from Russia. I expect some sexy tiki-taka football when him and Carroll link up.
b) Carroll actually playing a game?
I don't think that deal has been confirmed, but won't he be the tallest player in the league, after Pantilimon?
The wheels have fallen off this season in a BIG way. I'm still hopeful we can stay up though.
