I'm ok with this, mad potential here if its done right. Carmen is scandalous and violent as shit. Also the score from the opera was ripped off for star wars, would be funny if it popped up here at all
Watched this as part of a western collection I copped recently:
Blindman (1971)
Basically a spaghetti western Zatoichi. Had a strange offbeat vibe throughout while it desperately attempted to cater to a mainstream audience which made this a real oddity to watch: Tony Anthony looks like the weakest looking western protagonist you'll ever see with his dumbfounded-looking face and floppy hat; Ringo Starr is in it as a ruthless Mexican bandit (and he ain't even the main villain); and the gold/money in this is fifty mail order brides. Everything in this film should make it a disaster and yet it all works superbly.
