Re: NBA MVP
When Lebron went to Miami, his stats in year 1 dropped off largely since tried to cater to his new teammates. Then the next 3 years he just went back to regular Lebron and they could have what was left. He's done the same in Cleveland though instead of a teammate falling off due to injuries he was just a giant fraud.
Golden State likely beats Cleveland pretty badly in a series, but it's going to lose the Lebron/Curry matchup and make up for it elsewhere
Golden State is praying Durant doesn't come back because they are gonna lose round 1, it'll be like when they beat that 66 win Dallas team.

Cute, but nah. That series was decided by superior coaching acumen. Nelly TKOd his former squad, by praying on preexisting conditions. On a player to player basis, the Dubs had little business winning that series. If the OKC makes the first round and wins, it'll have more to do with them having 2 of the best 5 players in the game than an upset of unprecedented proportionseternalreflection wrote: Golden State is praying Durant doesn't come back because they are gonna lose round 1, it'll be like when they beat that 66 win Dallas team.

Re: NBA MVP
This years MVP will not go to a one of the top 3 players in the game, Lebron, AD, and Durant, because of injuries and there teams records.
So.... it comes down to Curry or Harden. Both have strong cases for them. My money is on Curry, but I voted for Harden

Re: NBA MVP
I voted for Harden, but wish I could take it back because AD deserves SOME votes. Right now he has the highest PER EVER for a season. It is a flawed stat, but what he is doing is amazing.

Rusty has been carrying the Thunder without Durant. I know Harden has been doing the same, but he has better talent around him than Westbrook. Westbrook's aggression and awkward competitiveness have won me over this season. He wasn't out that long was he?

Re: NBA MVP
Can folks who voted for Westbrook explain why? He's having a great season statistically but the team is still struggling, and he's missed like 3 weeks, while Bron and Curry have been consistently great for title contenders. I love Westbrook and hes been awesome, but it just feels like his recent success has folks gassed

Re: NBA MVP
He's the most fun player to watch in the league. I don't have an actual criteria. If I factored in shit like that, I'd probably vote for Steph.
Fuck Harden and his beard.
