Re: The 2015-16 NBA Thread
The size Okc now has with Adams and kanter to go along with their skill players is a problem. Cleveland is an aimless franchise run by lebron. There's no riley in Cleveland like there was in Miami when they beat Okc. Love being in Cleveland is a toxic situation, and the whole league knows it. Okc in 5.gusty wingers wrote:Lebron and company absolutely spanked OKC last time around. I am confident Lebron can do it with this cast of characters as well. Very comfortable. OKC won't dominate Cleveland on the boards like they are doing to GSW. I expect Mozgov to be key, along with Love. Lebron will clown Durant all day and remind everybody why he is the best player in the league. And the fact that this series with Toronto is going the distance only makes me more comfortable. Nobody likes a time sweeping through into the finals. Never a good sign. Battle tested Cavs after DOMINATING the East is going to be a problem for the fools gold Thunder.

Dominating the East is liking being the smartest person in the special Olympics.

Lebron's entire career will be nothing if he loses AGAIN to the West. Not a reason to back a team but it's not happening. Cleveland in 7 at home. In fact I will take it a step further. Cleveland wins back to back and beat GSW in the finals next year. Book it.

the defense OKC was playing tonight was unreal, they put the clamps on Steph. people saying he's still hurt but looked like he just gave up.

So do people here really think Steph is still hurt? Seems like a convenient excuse...
Re: The 2015-16 NBA Thread
He's not 100% that's for sure. The guy has always shown up and he's looked really absent so far.

i can't believe ernie hit 50% of NBA range 3 pointers. very impressive, even without a clock or defense.

He was getting locked down last year in the finals by a bench player, also lost finals MVP to a guy that held Lebron to 36/14/9.

Re: The 2015-16 NBA Thread
So you think two sweeps and a 7 game series win isn't a reasonably solid "domination" of the East? I understand the East is weak but you can only beat who is in front of you... Not a doubt in my mind Lebron wins it this year...CarlosDelgothoes wrote:word upgusty wingers wrote:this series with Toronto is going the distance

Also Detroit/Atlanta > Houston/Portland
OKC was the first #fullsquad (no David Lee) great team the dubs have played during their two year run in the playoffs. The last time they played a #fullsquad great team in the playoffs? Oh yeah lost to the Clippers in 7.

i don't see the Warriors making it outta OKC with a win. This game was way too close.
Re: The 2015-16 NBA Thread
I agree with you, but you really never know what Steph is capable of. If the guy hits a few jumpers in a row, it could be bedlam.Blockhead wrote:i don't see the Warriors making it outta OKC with a win. This game was way too close.
Also, it was pretty surprising to see Steph lock down Durant in the fourth and Dray abuse Westbrook when they were matched up.
The refs were huge in this game. The less the refs reward players for recklessly driving to the hoop, the better the dubs chances.
Edit: LOL, Westbrook just LAUGHED at the question of steph being an "underrated" defender...just laughed lol.

He was probably at Oracle, slapping the smiles off of warrior fans' faces after the game.

It's pathetic. I wonder if this type of pathetic behavior is typical of the Clipper fanbase. I've heard questionable things about that lot.Jayou Ayen wrote:A Ru can't stop, won't stop.
