I agree with Thun tho, these are mostly tracks we have been trading for the last 10 years amongst ourselves. It's still nice to have a glass of wine and listen to this with a few bat hits of tree.

I am waiting hoping that he plays one or two joints that we just never heard before.

I remember there was a thread on here about this demo tape a while back. It's "remastered" but still of shitty quality.

If we're lucky, Stretch might've found his Akinyele "No Exit II" and plays it.
But it will be ruined by drops.
I'm good, though. This is nice.

I remember this "She's On Her Menstruation" joint.
Anybody?

This Kane and Biz joint made it worth it for me thus far. I am a 80's Hip Hop head, and this a gem.

I do not have it, so not sure if it leaked. If it did leak I am sure I would have it, but that is like a 98% thing. Shit gets by the best of us. Everyone loves the 90's, and I def love it man, but I am a big 80's guy cause I was coming up with my older brother then and that is what I loved first. Anyone have that LL demo? Holy shit!

But it seems like they're not taking requests. I think Stretch just bought one HD with him and he planned out what to play beforehand.

Aye Verge, what's that other Terror Green demo you said they played once? Not 45 Stitches. That would make my night.

Yeah.
Terror Green - "Check The File"

But I 100% sadly guarantee that Stretch don't have it.
I think he only fussed to keep any well known people's demos.
Bob got all the ill unknown shits.
It'll surface one day, though.

Nah, Stretch said he can't find it.

The Doom will probably be the Scooby Doo sampled joint.
Not sure, I got confused with all the 12"s and different versions of the Doom
joints.

Way to dig deep, Stretch.

More than 95% of that stuff is widely available. One simple google search and you got that shit. I'd never heard the PE demo, but it sounded like crap in comparison to the LP version, so who gives a fuck. I might have been interested if it had a different beat or something.

While this show wasn't exactly mindblowing, it still warmed my rap nerd heart.

Don't those clowns fuckin know that like you folks said, almost all that shit is available online??? So what's the fuckin point of playing those ridiculous drops and id's??? *sigh* Whatever though...

It sounded like it was recorded off Dr. Dre's The Operating Room. J.Rocc played a couple of tracks from PE's demo tape during one of his uStream shows. One of the songs was called "This Is The Flavor Flav." He had an actual cassette that he got from DJ Rob One (R.I.P.). Said that if you were on the West Coast and had the PE demo, you got it from Rob One or someone that knew Rob.

When he played the Souls Of Mischief stuff, I thought he would've played something rarer than "Cabfare" and "Step To My Girl." The version of "Cabfare" he played was the studio demo that was slated for 93 Til Infinity. He could've at least played the one from the demo that got them signed to Jive. That one had the drums that Rakim used for "Step Back" and didn't have a Phesto verse. From what I can remember, Phesto wasn't even on their demo.

There are definitely tracks from their demo that Hiero never released, nor have I found elsewhere. Same goes for Casual's and Tha Alkaholiks'. I really need to find a tape player so I can share them.

Although that might be true, the thing is, AT LEAST they were playing Demo's from the ACTUAL DEMO TAPES which they uploaded themselves...
